Here is a message from the organizers of InfoCamp, a conference in Seattle next week that might be of interest to librarians out there.

InfoCamp Seattle 2009 is only a week away – October 10 & 11!

InfoCamp is an unconference for anyone interested in librarianship, user experience, information architecture, user-centered design, and information management. It features an egalitarian, community-driven format in which presentations are designed and delivered by participants.

2010 Board of Directors Election Results

The Special Libraries Association (SLA) announced the results of its Board of Directors election today. The newly-elected board members will begin their terms on the SLA Board of Directors on January 1, 2010, and will participate in their first board meeting during the association’s Annual Leadership Summit later that month in St. Louis.
